On the way to Old Town, our city tour stopped at the International SongFest grounds in Tallin.

Many famous singers have participated over the years, such as Tina Turner and Lady Gaga.

A statue of the song festival founders watches over the ampitheater and still enjoys each concert.
The tour guide walked us through the general process for each festival and pointed out a variety of costumes worn by the singers.

A little further up was a kiosk of information and we could get a commemorative coin of the visit.

The tour guide passed around pictures of a typical Estonian folk dress as well as silver jewelry. Woman of a certain age pass their silver jewelry on to younger singers when they come of age.
